Dear Bayview Students, Families, and Staff,
Welcome back to a brand-new school year at Bayview Education Centre (BEC)!
I hope everyone had a wonderful and restful summer. As we begin another exciting year together, I am filled with optimism about all that we will accomplish as a school community.
At Bayview, we believe that every student has the ability to learn, grow, and make a difference. This year, we will continue to focus on kindness, belonging, curiosity, and doing our best each day. Whether you are joining us for the first time or returning as a familiar face, you are an important part of our Bayview family.
Important Reminders
- First day of school (P to 12) - Thursday September 3, 2026
- School doors open at 8:25 a.m. and classes begin at 8:40 a.m.
- School supplies - for the 2026-2027 school year, students are required to bring the following items:
- backpack
- lunch box
- headphones/earbuds
- indoor sneakers for Physical Education class and
- water bottle
All other classroom supplies will be provided.
- Communication - school updates will be sent via SchoolMessenger, email and our school Facebook group.
To receive text messages from BEC and SRCE, please text “Yes” to 978338. If you do not opt in, you will not receive any text messages from BEC or the SRCE.
